The Glimmer In (Sleek N Sassy Inspired)

Tutorial Title: Blue is Lucky

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro and its tools. It was written in PspX2 but may be done in previous versions. My tutorials are from my own creative imagination any resemblance to other tutorials is strictly coincidental. If I am using a brush, mask, frame, tube, template or preset that belongs to you and I do not have you listed please let me know which items is yours and give me a link to your site so I can give you credit and a link!!

Materials: Not Included:
1 scrapkit: FairlyIrish-Green: By: Sleek N Sassy Designz and can be purchased at Scrappindollars
1 template: Glimmer: By: Dees'Sign
1 tube: I am using the wonderful art work of Alicia Mujicaand must be purchased at PspTubesEmporium (PTE)
1 mask: MC_Mask13: By: Melissazcreationz

Settings used throughout tutorial:
Mask Drop Shadow: (-1), 2, 45, 3, #404040
Element Drop Shadow: 0, 4, 100, 10, #202020
Paper Drop Shadow: 6, 2, 61, 7, #355B63 (Change this to a color from your tube)

Unzip all supplies. Let's Begin!

Tutorial: Instructions:

1. Open template: SHIFT+D and close original
a. Delete the info layer and mask layer
b. Highlight the background layer

2. Open FI_paper1: CTRL+C and close

3. Open your mask if you don't have it saved to disk

4. On template: CTRL+L:
a. Layers: New Mask From Image: Apply your mask uncheck invert mask data. Or
b. If your mask is saved to disk: Layers: Load / Save Mask: From Disk. Uncheck invert mask.
c. Merge group: Add Mask drop shadow above.
d. Highlight the im on top layer

5. Open FI_Element48: CTRL+C and close

6. On template: CTRL+L:
a. SHIFT+S: 120 px (width) all layers unchecked
b. Move to the bottom of the template: So that it is over the small star. (see mine for placement)
c. Move this layer down just above the small star top layer
d. Delete the small star top layer and the small star back layer
e. Add element drop shadow above.
f. Highlight left rectangle layer: CTRL+A, CTRL+F, CTRL+SHIFT+F
g. Layers: new layer

7. Open FI_paper2: CTRL+C and close

8. On template: CTRL+SHIFT+L
a. CTRL+SHIFT+I
b. CTRL+D
c. Add Paper drop shadow above
d. Delete original layer
e. Repeat for the right rectangle layer.
f. Highlight the im on top layer

9. Open FI_Element46: CTRL+C and close

10. On template: CTRL+L
a. Move to the left side of the tag (see mine for placement)
b. Duplicate: CTRL+M (if you have to move over to the right side of the template)
c. Merge down
d. Move this layer down just above the oval layer
e. Delete the oval layer.
f. Add element drop shadow.
g. Highlight the white shape layer: CTRL+A, CTRL+F, CTRL+SHIFT+F

11. Open FI_paper9: CTRL+C and close

12. On template: CTRL+L
a. CTRL+SHIFT+I
b. Hit the delete button.
c. CTRL+D
d. Add paper drop shadow
e. Delete original layer
f. Highlight the big star top layer
g. CTRL+A, CTRL+F, CTRL+SHIFT+F
h. Layers: New Layer
i. Flood fill with #007900
j. Adjust: Add Noise / Remove Noise: Random, 100, monochrome checked.
k. Delete original layer
l. Highlight the im on top layer

13. Open FI_Element51: CTRL+C and close

14. On template: CTRL+L
a. SHIFT+S: 120 px (width) all layers uncheked
b. Move down just above your star layer
c. Add element drop shadow
d. Highlight the pink circle layer: CTRL+A, CTRL+F, CTRL+SHIFT+F
e. Layers new layer: flood fill with the same green as your star
f. CTRL+D, add the same noise
g. Delete original layer

15. Highlight the rectangles layer: CTRL+A, CTRL+F, CTRL+SHIFT+F
a. Layers: New Layer: Flood fill with the same green as before
b. DO NOT DESELECT

16. Open your tube if not yet open. If it comes with a close up highlight that layer: CTRL+C and minimize for later use in the tutorial.

17. On template CTRL+L move to your liking
a. CTRL+SHIFT+I
b. Hit your delete key
c. CTRL+D
d. Duplicate: Adjust: Blur: Gaussin Blur: 5.13, Change blend mode to hardlight
e. On original tube layer change blend mode to multiply
f. Highlight the im on top layer

18. Open up FI_Element18: CTRL+C and close

19. On template CTRL+L
a. SHIFT+S: 220 px (width)
b. Move to the top of the frame (see mine for placement)
c. Add element drop shadow

20. Open up FI_Element29: CTRL+C and close

21. On template CTRL+L
a. SHIFT+S: 320 px (width)
b. Move to the left of the frame (see mine for placement)
c. Add element drop shadow

22. Maximize your tube: Highlight the full body tube: CTRL+C and close

23. On template CTRL+L
a. SHIFT+S: 320 px (width)
b. Move to the upper left of the frame so it looks like she is sitting on the harp(see mine for placement)
c. Add element drop shadow

24. Open FI_Element16: CTRL+C and close

25. On template CTRL+L
a. SHIFT+S: 225 px (width)
b. Move to the bottom of the frame (see mine for placement)
c. Add element drop shadow

26. Merge all flatten
a. SHIFT+S: 500 px (width)

27. Add copyright information, watermark and text.
