Tutorial Title: A Reflection of Memories

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro and its tools. It was written in PspX2 but may be done in previous versions. My tutorials are from my own creative imagination any resemblance to other tutorials is strictly coincidental. If I am using a brush, mask, frame, tube, template or preset that belongs to you and I do not have you listed please let me know which items is yours and give me a link to your site so I can give you credit and a link!!

Settings used throughout tutorial:
Mask Drop Shadow: (-1), 2, 45, 3.00, #000000
Frame Drop Shadow: 2, 4, 40, 4.00, #000000
Bird Drop Shadow: 13, 0, 60, 19.32, #000000
Violin Drop Shadow: 1, 2, 40, 4.00, #000000
Roses1 Drop Shadow: 2, 4, 40, 4.00, #000000
Chair Drop Shadow: 1, (-2), 40, 4.00, #000000
Envelope Drop Shadow: 0, 4, 100, 10.00, #000000
Border Drop Shadow: 2, 4, 40, 4.00, #000000


Colors used throughout tutorial:

Unzip all supplies. Let's Begin!

Tutorial: Instructions:

1. Create a new canvas: 600 * 600 : color: white

2. Open paper 7: CTRL+C and close

3. On tag: CTRL+L
a. Layers: Load / Save Mask: Load from disk: Ourfantasy check invert mask data
b. Merge group:
c. Layers: Load / Save Mask: Load from disk: right_corner_rose
d. Merge group:
e. Apply Mask Drop shadow above.

4. Open frame02: CTRL+C and close

5. On tag: CTRL+L
a. SHIFT+S: 475 px (width) all layers unchecked
b. Using your magic wand click on the inside of the frame
i. Selections: modify: expand: 2
c. Layers: new layer

6. Open your image: CTRL+C and close

7. On tag: CTRL+SHIFT+L
a. CTRL+D
b. Move this layer below the frame layer

8. Open up your tube: (if you are using the same tube as me if not skip step 8 and 9 all together)
a. Using your lasso tool: Selection Type: Freehand
b. Draw around the bird
c. CTRL+C
d. CTRL+D and minimize for later use.

9. On tag: CTRL+L
a. CTRL+M
b. Move to the right side of the image (see mine for placement)
c. Apply Bird Drop Shadow above

10. Open violin: CTRL+C and close

11. On tag: CTRL+L
a. SHIFT+S: 200 px (width)
b. Move to the bottom right hand corner of frame (see mine for placement)
c. Apply Violin drop shadow above

12. Open Roses01: CTRL+C and close

13. On tag: CTRL+L
a. SHIFT+S: 250 px (width)
b. CTRL+R: Right: Degrees: 15
c. CTRL+I
d. Move to the top of the frame (see mine for placement)

14. Open chair: CTRL+C and close

15. On tag: CTRL+L
a. SHIFT+S: 400 px (width)
b. Apply chair drop shadow above
c. Move to the bottom left hand side of frame (see mine for placement)

16. Maximize your tube: CTRL+C and close

17. On tag: CTRL+L
a. SHIFT+S: 475 px (width)
b. Move to the left side of the frame. So she / he looks likes he is sitting on the chair.
c. Apply chair drop shadow to your tube

18. Open clock01: CTRL+C and close

19. On tag: CTRL+L
a. SHIFT+S: 100 px (width)
b. Change blend mode to luminance (l)
c. Move to the upper right hand corner of image (in side frame) (see mine for placement)

20. Open envelope02 CTRL+C and close

21. On tag: CTRL+L
a. SHIFT+S: 100 px (width)
b. CTRL+R: Left: Degrees: 15.00
c. Move to the upper left side of the frame (see mine for placement)
d. Apply envelope drop shadow above

22. Open album: CTRL+C and close

23. On tag: CTRL+L
a. SHIFT+S: 100 px (width)
b. CTRL+R: Right: Degrees: 15.00
c. Move into your tube's lap (see mine for placement)
d. Apply envelope drop shadow again

24. Open fountain: CTRL+C and close

25. On tag: CTRL+L
a. SHIFT+S: 225 px (width)
b. Move to the bottom center of the tag (see mine for placement)
c. Merge visible

26. Open papers 16 and 1 (minimize) we are using these for our borders

27. Image: Add Border: symmetric checked: 2, color: #0000FF
a. CTRL+A, Selection: Modify: Selection Borders: both sides, 2, anti-alias
b. Using your paint bucket tool flood fill with paper 1
c. Apply border drop shadow above
d. CTRL+D

28. Image: Add Border: symmetric checked 4, color: #0000FF
a. CTRL+A, Selection: Modify: Selection Borders: inside, 4, anti-alias
b. Using your paint bucket tool flood fill with paper 16
c. CTRL+D

29. Image: Add Border: symmetric checked: 2, color: #0000FF
a. CTRL+A, Selection: Modify: Selection Borders: both sides, 2, anti-alias
b. Using your paint bucket tool flood fill with paper 1
c. Apply border drop shadow above
d. CTRL+D

30. Image: Add Border: symmetric checked: 25, color: #0000FF
a. CTRL+A, Selection: Modify: Selection Borders: inside, 25, anti-alias
b. Using your paint bucket tool flood fill with paper 16
c. CTRL+D

31. Image: Add Border: symmetric checked: 5, color: #0000FF
a. CTRL+A, Selection: Modify: Selection Borders: both sides, 5, anti-alias
b. Using your paint bucket tool flood fill with paper 1
c. CTRL+D

32. Open rosevine1: CTRL+C and close

33. On tag: CTRL+L
a. SHIFT+S: 185 px (width)
b. Move to the upper left hand corner
c. Add bird drop shadow above
d. Duplicate
e. CTRL+I
f. Merge down
g. Duplicate
h. CTRL+M
i. Merge all flatten

34. SHIFT+S: 500 px (width) all layers checked

35. Add your copyright, watermark, and name

36. Save as .jpg
