Tutorial Title: Must Have Chocolate

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro and its tools. It was written in PspX2 but may be done in previous versions. My tutorials are from my own creative imagination any resemblance to other tutorials is strictly coincidental. If I am using a brush, mask, frame, tube, template or preset that belongs to you and I do not have you listed please let me know which items is yours and give me a link to your site so I can give you credit and a link!!

Materials: Not Included:
1 Scrap Kit: ChocolateLover By:
Designs By Stina
1 tube: I am using the wonderful work of © Alicia Mujica which must be purchased from PspTubesEmporium (PTE)
1 side-border mask: I can't share the one I used as I am not sure where I got it, who created, and if it can be shared.

Materials: Included:
Supplies
1 texture: dbk_notepaper: © DesignsByKarma

Settings used throughout tutorial:
Mask Drop Shadow: (-1), 2, 45, 3, #000000
Notepaper: 100, 2, 2, 0, 0, #ffffff, 243, 50, 31
Heart Frame Drop Shadow: 1, 2, 40, 4, #000000
Main Tube Drop Shadow: 2, 5, 84, 6.00, #00000
Header Inner Bevel: #2, 5, 20, 2, 0, 20, #ffffff, 40, 40

Unzip all supplies. This tutorial will be in 5 parts. We will be making a side border incredimail letter, a semi-matching tag, a header, a matching avatar and I will explain to you how to set up your letter in Incredimail. Lets Begin!

Tutorial: Instructions:

Part 1: SideBorder:

1. Open rose1: SHIFT+D and close original
a. Resize: 324 px (width) all layers unchecked
b. CTRL+A
c. Layers: New Layer:

2. Open paper12: CTRL+C and close

3. On rose canvas:
a. CTRL+SHIFT+L
b. Adjust: sharpness: Unsharp Mask: Sharp Focus setting (6.00, 210, 0)
c. Layers: Load / Save Mask: your side-border mask.
d. Using your pick tool pull your mask to the left side just a bit. So it looks like your rose is hanging off the side. (see mine for placement)
e. Merge group.
f. Apply the mask drop shadow
g. Effects: Image Effects: Seamless Tiling: Corner, Vertical, Vertical Offset: 0, Transition: 0

4. Open chocolate goodies: CTRL+C and close

5. On rose canvas: CTRL+L
a. SHIFT+S: 100 px (width) all layers unchecked.
b. Move to the left side (see mine for placement)
c. Merge Visible:
d. Image: Canvas Size: Width: 1280: Height: 324 Placement: Left
e. Layers: New Layer: Flood Fill with a medium / light color: I used: #6d3a2a
f. Effects: Texture: dbk_notepaper: using notepaper settings above. Do this 2 times.
g. Merge: Flatten:
h. Save as .jpg


Part 2: Semi-Matching Tag:
1. Open rose1: SHIFT+D and close original
a. SHIFT+S: 500 px (width) all layers checked

2. Open paper12: CTRL+C and close

3. On rose canvas:
a. CTRL+SHIFT+L
b. Adjust: sharpness: Unsharp Mask: Sharp Focus setting (6.00, 210, 0)
c. Layers: Load / Save Mask: your side-border mask.
d. Using your pick tool pull your mask to the left side just a bit. So it looks like your rose is hanging off the side. (see mine for placement)
e. Merge group.
f. Apply the mask drop shadow

4. Layers: New Layer: Flood Fill with a medium / light color: I used: #6d3a2a
a. Effects: Texture: dbk_notepaper: using notepaper settings above. Do this 2 times.

5. Open heartframe1: CTRL+C and close

6. On tag: CTRL+L
a. SHIFT+S: 275 px (width)
b. Move to the bottom of tag (see mine for placement)
c. Move this layer in between background and mask layer.
d. Apply heart frame drop shadow above.

7. Open chocolate goodies: CTRL+C and close

8. On tag: CTRL+L
a. SHIFT+S: 225 px (width) all layers unchecked
b. Move to the bottom of the tag and over to the left. (see mine for placement)

9. Open up your tube: CTRL+C and close

10. On tag: CTRL+L
a. SHIFT+S: 450 px (width) all layers unchecked or a sizing to your liking.
b. Add main tube drop shadow above
c. Move to the bottom of the tag and over to the left (see mine for placement)

11. Open beautiful dove: CTRL+C and close

12. On tag: CTRL+L
a. SHIFT+S: 125 px (widht) all layers unchecked.
b. Move to the left side of the tag. (see mine for placement)
c. Add main tube drop shadow
d. Merge all flatten

13. Add your watermark, .
a. SHIFT+D (minimize the duplicated image)
b. Add copyright information
c. SHIFT+D (minimize the duplicated image)
d. Add text

14. Save as .jpg

Part 3: Header:
1. Maximize the duplicate image with the copyright information on it:

2. Image: Add border: 10: color: #000000

3. Using your magic wand click inside the border we just made.

4. Open paper4: CTRL+C and close

5. On header: CTRL+SHIFT+L
a. Apply header inner bevel
b. Apply main tube drop shadow
c. CTRL+D
d. Add text.
e. Add any drop shadow or effects you like. (optional)

6. Save as .jpg


Part 4: Matching Avatar:
1. Maximize the last duplicated image
2. SHIFT+S: 150 px (width) all layers checked
3. Add your copyright information
4. Add your initial (letter of your name)
5. Save as .jpg

Part 5: Creating your letter.

1. Open up letter creator.

2. On the background Tab Setting:
a. Click the tile icon, click on the image icon, Image position: Top Left.

3. Change your font to one of your choosing and size, You can even change your font color and link color

4. Change the left margins to 345
5. Click on the header tab: Click on image: Add your image: Center: (can be found right next to the colorful letter T)

6. Click on the footer tab. Add your information in the text box. And any small images you like

7. Add any 3d effects

8. Click the finish tab add your letter name

9. Save for later use and then add to incredimail
